No Knead Bread

Purchased this pan to make the No Knead Bread. Perfect size for doubling the recipe. Get a beautiful crusty artisan loaf, with little work and almost pennies to make.
As an added bonus, this pot is great for making, stews, soups, grains, and just about everything. No more scorched macaroni and cheese. The cast iron is so thick that scorching is a thing of the past. Can also finish baking in the oven and serve from the pan.
If I could only have one pan, this cocotte would be the one. So very versatile, beautiful, and made in France.

This is a must have, stunning Cherry piece! I use this 5.5qt cocotte almost on a daily basis for a variety of recipes when making food for my boyfriend and I. This provides us with plenty of food for dinner and lots of leftovers. The nonstick enameled coating is excellent for browning and searing and a fantastic stove to oven to table vessel.

Love the black matte interior

Thank goodness- no more staining. When i got married, I received a Dutch oven- not a Staub, and over the years, it really got stained from a variety of spices and slow braising in the oven.
Staub has a cool black matte interior and is self basting and seasoning. I make family meals in this pot regularly and clean up is a breeze. I can usually use a damp sponge and wipe it dry!

More than a cast iron pot, it is red!

Red is so beautiful for every kitchen. It is perfect for parties or daily cooking dish. It does make a difference food taste wise, efficiency-saves gas and you can serve your delicious dish straight to your table without the need to use another dish. I also bought a staub cast iron trivet to protect my table from direct heat.

I absolutely love this piece. It is so versatile and fits so much food. The 5.5 qt is perfect for a family of four and have room for leftovers. Love this piece can go into the refrigerator too!

Absolutely Perfect Size

Great for families of 2 to 4...Solid cast iron has the best heat retention. Beneath lid has nobbies that seem to always have food inside turn out moist. Cherry is Staub's most iconic colour.
