This is such a great pot because it has every feature I would ever look for. Not only does it have metal utensil safe nonstick ceramic coating but it also has a stay cool handle, is oven safe, has a see through glass lid that has built in strainer holes, has a pour rim and is made from thick three ply stainless steel. I've had nonstick pans in the past that always seem to lose their nonstick quality and warp in the middle when heated but this pan is so thick and sturdy it heats up evenly and the nonstick is amazing. I can practically clean it out with just a wipe of a paper towel when I'm done. I'm really pleased with this pan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Zwilling Clad CFX is absolutely the best cookware I have ever owned. Superbly designed, beautifully made, and incredibly functional, these pans are genuinely perfect. They have mirror polished surfaces on the outside, durable non-stick ceramic surfaces on the inside, and thoughtful details like stay-cool stainless handles, laminated construction to quickly respond to heat, and clear glass lids with two different size strainers built right in. The integral pour spouts that flare out from the sides of the pan are incredibly well-designed, both for function and for elegance. And after you use them, they clean up like a dream. They are literally the best!

You'll instantly fall in love with this ceramic saucepan when you use it for the first time. The nonstick interior is the best I've ever used and has changed my cooking for the better. Not to mention, clean up has never been easier. The stainless steel exterior and aluminum core makes for perfect heat distribution and retention while the handle stays cool and the strainer lid/pouring spouts make it incredibly easy to remove liquid from it. The pan is a great weight too.

I thought it would have the same Zwilling standards, but this has a handle that gets super hot during cooking. My arthritis makes it impossible to use a hot handle with a pot holder. This was an expensive purchase that functions like a bargain basement product.

Expensive, coating chips easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The general construction of the pot feels solid, and the multi-layer stainless steel ensures even heat distribution. Coating is also very nonstick out of the box (slightly burned some oatmeal to it, and it wiped out with just a little soap and a soft sponge). Love having the pour spout for single-serving soups. Perfect size for a ramen (if you don't put too much extra stuff in it).
The coating on the rim chipped the first time I used it. I think it's a major design flaw that the coating extends to the rim which rubs against the lid.
Also, this pot is a little smaller than the previous 1QT pot it replaced. It fits 1QT, but I wouldn't put that much liquid at a full boil, as it would likely splash out especially near the spout area. Would like the pot to be slightly enlarged.
Given these flaws (especially the questionable durability of the coating), I'd hesitate to pay list price for this pot, it's very expensive and you'd likely be just as well served by a cheaper nonstick pot that wouldn't be as expensive to replace.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New and Improved

I love the new ceramic Clad CFX line. I ordered this pan for quick heat ups. Coating is chemical free and a 3 ply construction. The pan also has an aluminum center layer so the heating capability is great. There is a pour spout and drain the lid / pan combo.
