You have to put these knives in your hands to appreciate the innovative curved bolster. So comfortable. The heft of the blade makes this western style knife a work horse in the kitchen. Super sharp and well balanced. Excellent variety of knives that will last you a lifetime. Room to grow with this block set. My favorite knives.

The dark block really makes the Pro ergonomic handles standout and shows off the four essential knives every kitchen needs. All the good knives in a beautiful block

Great set! It has all you need to cook many fabulous meals and room to grow into as you expand your culinary chops. It comes in that sexy black block. Looks good in any kitchen.
And these are seriously good knives too. Pro line knives feature the most innovative design thinking and are manufactured with the latest technology in the industry. They each have a fully integrated angled bolster that is easy to pinch grip, keeping the thumb and forefinger in the correct position for maximum control. The full tang of the blade is riveted in three places to the contoured composite handle for comfort and security.
And every knife is forged from one of the best cutlery steels available. The quality of the steel is important because the better the steel, the longer a knife will hold an edge and how easy it will be to sharpen. These knives will stand up to a lifetime of use. Minimal maintenance. Hone them regularly and sharpen, at most, once a year. I hand wash so they look brand new, but they are dishwasher safe.

The Pro 7-piece knife block set in black is just a thing of beauty... as I did, you have the option to add 6 steak knife (only problem is, their only sold in sets of 4). But you can also fill the block with a few extra slots available. Great piece to showcase on the countertop.
