[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well the first set we bought had a bend in the blade of the chef knife that was viable to the naked eye. The 3” pairing knife had two nicks in the blade as well. When we initially called to inform Zwilling they denied a return on the knives because they were bought by a third party. This was rather disappointing. It was clearly a manufacturing issues. We ultimately had to purchase a new set. There are some minor cosmetic defects, but overall more satisfied than the original set. Probably won’t be buying another set like this in the future, though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Solid Build Quality at an Affordable Price

Extremely Sharp, Solid build quality. Great ergonomics and balance/weight of handle on these solid knives cut from a single piece of metal. The black wood block has a nice finish and feel premium. Great customer service at Zwilling's Las Vegas location, and I especially like the fact that I can take these knives to get sharpened at a Zwilling location.

We just received this beautifully made set. It looks great and feels great in my hands. The blades are perfectly sharp and will stay that way because of the self-sharpening block.
