Excellent knife set

Very nice, complete set, came with an instruction sheet identifying the wide and varied assortment of knives. Some are obvious - bread knife, paring knife - while others - utility knife, prep knife, hollow edge santoku - are encouraging me to try knives I would not have reached for. Included is a matching 8 pc steak knife set which is very useful for dinners. Overall, the knives are attractive and sturdy with nice grip. I noted that the new 8-inch stainless steel chef's knife has a sharper edge than the carbon steel knife I've been using without the trouble of constant sharpening.

Has just about everything you need in a set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All the knives included and 8 steak knives is nice. Many other sets only have 6 or 4 spots, but they don't always come with it. Nice handles where blade goes through full length of handle. Sharpener and cooking scissors included!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our daughter gifted us this Christmas with new knives. We had been using knives we’d gotten as a wedding present 40 years ago and were not aware of how badly they had dulled over time. Wow, what an incredible joy it is to now to have a super sharp, very beautiful and well made set. And the wooden block looks wonderful on my new countertops; another Christmas gift!
