Great cast iron braiser

This is the ultimate all purpose piece from Staub. You can do so much in it, from braising meat, to steaming vegetables, to doing an indoor cookout making burgers. This pan is very versatile and can be used for so many different recipes. I like the look of the handles, very traditional aesthetic. With the self-basting heavy cast iron lid, it helps enhance the cooking in your braiser, while helping keep moisture inside so your meal doesn’t dry out. The enamel does such a great job during the cooking process, it’s just a great piece!

This pretty grenadine braiser can easily be transferred from stove to oven to table as it is not only functional, but makes for a beautiful presentation piece. The double handles will make the transferring easy while the innovative Staub technology takes care of everything on the inside. Marvel at the results yielded by the exclusive self-basting lid and nonstick enameled interior, offering the most flavorful food that will be perfectly browned and seared. Easy to clean, especially when doing the recommended hand washing!

Makes every dish delicious

I have not had a bad meal in this pan. Everything I make in it comes out better than expected and even my kids can't complain. LOVE that I can sear on the stove, roast in the oven and put on the table all in one pot.

The braiser is a nice size for everyday cooking. I got this to replace the daily pan I was using before. This holds a good amount of food to cook for a family and is large enough for place strips of bacon flat in the pan. The heavy duty lid is good for braising but I also got a glass lid so that I can see eggs when they are cooking.

Stunning Braiser, absolutely terrible packaging.

Ordered 25JAN21, finally after sending the fourth damaged and chipped up braisers back I received a fifth perfect unit on 05OCT21. Its not UPS, the blame falls on the engineer who designed a box where the lid and base aren't properly isolated. I'm sorry but all future purchases will be in a store so I can do a full chip inspection. I have to say it is BEAUTIFUL. Sorry the 8 months and 4 returns caused the low rating.

The Staub 3.75 braiser is a work of art and science. The dome lid helps in cooking tough cuts of meat until it is fall of the bone. One pot dinners for 2 no problem, small casseroles no problem....BUY THIS BRAISER

These braiser cast iron is shallow but wide, so easy to stir, and organized every ingredients in one beautiful presentation. It is great for braising, roasting, frying, stir fry, baking breads and mostly everything. If you are cooking stew or baked beans, it has enough space for anything in your recipe'.
The innovative lid features tiny spikes on the interior that continually release condensed liquid back onto the food, yielding moist, flavorful results.
Staub cast iron works on all stove top sources including gas, electric, glass, ceramic, induction, and halogen. Staub cast iron are Made in France. Heavy weight, tight-fitting lid retains moisture, spikes on the lid create a rain-forest effect evenly returning juices back onto food and it cooked like a pressure cooker. Oven safe up to 900F.
