I love my new knife set. The cherry wood looks gorgeous and the knives are really comfortable in my hand. So far, they have effortlessly cut through everything I have tested.

Sharp burs on all the back edges VERY DANGEROUS!

Recieved as a give on our regisrty. We were initially happy to see the knife set but upon use we've found them to be dangerous! Very sharp on the back edges that have cut both of us while using them. I'm a machinist and I grew up around knives my father was a chef I know how to properly handle knifes and sharp objects. These knives not just one but all of them are very sharp where you don't want them to be. Right on the spine of the blade. Not only did I just myself but I was working with raw poultry and that got into my cut because I didn't notice it in time due to how cleanly it got me.
TDLR the knifes are very sharp on the blade which is good but they are also sharp on the spine which for me should have NEVER passed any type of inspection.

Pretty nice and solid looking knife block set.
One of the knives had a bit of the plastic melted at the base, but that’s more of an aesthetic issue than a functional issue. The grantons on the santoku knife look uneven and sort of jagged, but are deep enough to still be functional.
