[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't thrilled at the thought of a butcher block. All of the reviews online linked them to water spots and rust and mold. I was pleasantly surprised there were pretty large holes in the block allowing for air to dry the knives very well. The knives are very sharp out of the box. The knives are heavy and excellent quality.

I finally decided to invest in a set of nice professional knives after the frustration of dealing with dull serrated basic kitchen knives. Once I switched over my kitchen game took ten levels up! Will definitely be sticking to the Henckels International brand from now on.
