I should start off by saying that I am average-above average in the kitchen and really have learned to understand the importance of having a good knife or knife set in order to make meals. I’ve used plenty of knives ranging from very poor to higher quality and this sets is well towards the top. The balance on each is spot on. They are light but sharp, precise and easy to use, and goodness, they look good. The block that came with our set is also well made and we are more than pleased with everything about it. Yes, it was pricey but we imagine teaching our future kids, nieces and nephews how to cook up meals using these knives. Thank you.

We got these knives as a wedding gift and they are very nice! Cute good and feels good in the hands. We will definitely be using them everyday. The block is very nice as well.

New Knives

Just upgraded my knife set. Unfortunately there are a few issues out of the box. The blade of the chef's knife seems to stick out of the knife block about 1/8" which could be a safety concern, the 5.5 prep knife has a chip in it, and none of the knives are sharp. It seems like they'll be good knives after I sharpen them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love how weighted they are and how sharp they are. They feel elegant and like they will last a lot longer than our 8 year old Cutco chef knife.

Incredibly sharp weighty knives with good balance. I love the bolster. I decided to get this set to start replacing my 20 year-old. Wusthoff knives that is just not cutting it anymore. Forged German steel with a through pin handle. Everything I was looking for.
