Handy little set. Literally.

Great for smaller jobs that require more hand work like peeling and coring, and making garnishes. Its also good for chopping smaller vegetables, fruit. (If you have lots of vegetables to chop, consider a 7-inch santoku, 8-inch chef's or a vegetable cleaver.) But whichever knives suit you best, you're not going wrong with the quality.
I really like Henckels Classic knives; I've had a set for more than 20 years. These are forged knives made of quality steel. They have a triple riveted handle, a comfortable integrated bolster. Even if they aren't made in Germany, the steel is, and their quality is unquestionable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great everyday use! The santoku is good for chopping, diving and mincing. Use the parer for small job like removing small blemishes from fruit and vegetables.
