I gave this little beauty to my daughter-ilaw for her Birthday last month, along with handwritten recipe cards for things she has enjoyed over the years. I included some of the unique spices that are often used in those recipes. She was so happy and excited to use it! The Blue goes perfectly in her blue and white french inspired kitchen. Now I know for sure a collection of blue staub is in her Birthday gift future!

The dark blue color is what I've stocked my kitchen with. The French craftsmanship shows in this 4qt oven that is perfect for feeding 2-4 people (or just 2 and plenty of leftovers!) The enameled (and iron-free!) cast iron maintains heat so well and I truly appreciate the self-basting feature with the spikes on the lid. This piece is a must have in any kitchen!

It is perfect for my small family. It does make a difference food taste wise, efficiency-saves gas and you can serve your delicious dish straight to your table without the need to use another dish. I also bought a staub cast iron trivet to protect my table from direct heat.

Love deep blue colour. Weighted so food cooks evenly. Nobs neath lid for distributing moisture. Cleans easily inside and out.

Small but Mighty! I live alone so this size is just perfect for me for more dishes than I can count. I use it for small pots of chili, stew for one, macaroni and cheese, i have even baked a small loaf of bread for myself. All the benefits of the larger cocottes but for a smaller household.

This Cocotte Does it ALL!

These Staub cocottes are multi-purpose. I have baked bread as shown in the picture, and it is some of the best bread I have ever baked! Plus, you can find recipes that are SO SIMPLE! I have one that is four ingredient, and it is no knead version. Bakes a rustic loaf. The dark interior and the tight fitting lid work to bake a crusty yet tender bread. It's a great pot to make soups, chilis, stews, roasts...I have even used it as a deep fryer. One pan, a hundred uses.

Love the blue. Truly my favorite of all of the Staub colors. This pan cooks as good as it looks. Use for soups, stews, sauces, and deep frying. Works with my induction cooktop as well as in my oven. Can't imagine not having this in my kitchen. Also purchased some Staub ceramic in the blue, which looks great with the cocotte when I'm entertaining and upping my game!
