Perfect rice every time! The cast iron really holds on to the moisture and heat and the results are perfect. Looks much nicer than my electric rice cooker, and I love using it as a serving piece that really holds on to the heat.
Grains also benefit from the cast iron. Easy to use, just bring the liquid to a boil, add the grains, stir, cover cook on lowest of heat
setting and wait a short time, fast and easy.
Induction compatible and oven safe to 500 degrees, allows for flexibility as well as multiple uses. Great kitchen helper.

Best Rice Cooker

I love rice but hate having a bunch of electric and ugly appliances out on my counters. When I found out that this could be used as a rice cooker I was very excited and went for it. This thing makes making rice so easy and fluffy and it's much prettier to leave out in the kitchen. Plus it's a great size to boil a couple eggs if you don't want to heat up a whole pot.

Due to the special chevrons beneath lid, the chistera yields fluffiest, most moist rice I've ever made. Beautiful enameled grenadine goes from stovetop to table. Available magnetic trivet is a good idea as well.

Fail safe rice cooker for every type of rice: long grain, basmati, jasmine, etc., Water to rice proportions can be adjusted for drier or stickier rice. Easy to clean--soak in cold water, wipe with a sponge and rinse. Wonderful kitchen tool!

Instead of preparing your oatmeal or grains in a regular saucepan, get the best results by using this classic grenadine petit french oven. The cast iron will ensure the best heat distribution and retention to perfectly cook your oats and grains. Clean up will be light and easy too!

This adorable little Staub, is great for making rice. It can be used on the buffet to serve gravy or sauce. The cast iron body retains heat well and it looks beautiful. The only challenge is picking a color.

This Petite French oven conical bottom shape allows stirring and mixing effortless.
It is perfect for cooking small portion soup and sauce. To my surprise, this petite French oven is a perfect rice cooker too and even great deep frying food.
A daily pot for casual meals for sumptuous suppers. Slightly shallow but still has a good food space.
Compare to cocotte lids features tiny spikes on the interior, this French oven has chistera lid for excellent self-basting properties.
Chistera lid performs the same functionality, that continually release condensed liquid back onto the food, yielding moist, flavorful results.
It does make a difference in food taste wise, efficiency-saves gas and you can serve your delicious dish straight to your table without the need to use another dish.
