Beautiful and wonderful product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love the look of this cast irons pan. Cooking with it is amazing. I love the way cast iron cooks and having the lid makes it so much easier and I am able to use it for countless recipes. Staub is my favorite brand for cast iron. It is pricey but I know this product with be my go to cooking item for many years so worth the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gorgeous sheen! I love the way the braiser sears and browns — I just wish it didn’t require so much fat/oil so as to prevent food sticking. Maybe I just need more time to experiment with heat on my stove and maybe the nonstick will improve with time and use. I really do like it though!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pan/skillet for all kinds of things. It is great for baking biscuits or scones in the oven or does just as well frying chicken. Love it for frying chicken, potatoes, pork, actually anything fried. It is so versatile. I do rice dishes in it for lunch or dinner but can do eggs in it for breakfast. It is a do everything pan. My only concern has been it was real slick when I first got which I loved but more things are sticking now and I am not sure why that has happened. Wish I could figure out how to get it more nonstick.

Love the size and the countless capabilities of this skillet. However, extremely disappointed! Skillet chipped on my first initial use, and the second time I used it, my food sticks to the pan, and I haven’t been able to clean it, even though it’s been soaking for two days in water. The coating is coming off. I almost want to return it or exchange it. I have read and followed initial guidelines on how to use it. I expected a better quality product for the price.
