This means you buy only what you will use and don't waste any money on 6 extra knives you'll never use. This set solves that problem, since each piece is essential and of the highest quality I've used to date. These are great knives and worth every penny.

Love the assortment of knives in this block! Finally a set with all the essentials, and none of the fillers. Who doesn't use a paring knife, utility knife, chef's knife and nice long 9.5" bread knife. The kitchen shears included are also amazing, and top quality! This has everything I would have picked out if I were building my own personal block.

Amazing and very sharp knives!
