[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought as gift for my husband and we have used this to make several amazing dishes. Oven, stove-top-does a beautiful job. Even heat distribution as well as incredible moisture while basting foods. Recommend as a staple in any kitchen.

Great multifunctional pot.

Multifunctional (less pots needed), seems indeed durable, and is aesthetically pleasing, which is important for my kitchen with open lay-out. Happy.

My favorite Staub piece, I use it for everything. You can sear meat, simmer a sauce, make a stew, roast vegetables, fry chicken, boil potatoes, bake a dessert, and everything in between! The cocotte can be used on any cooking surface, even induction. I often use it on my BBQ as an extra heat source. If the pan gets a little soot on it don't worry, it will wash off easily leaving that pristine white color.

I love this size and I love this shape especially for roasting chickens. You have enough room to add your vegetables in with the chicken, which is a huge plus. The spikes under the lid collect moisture and self-baste the dish all while it is cooking, so almost like you have an extra hand! You get to take all the credit though! Great size for all your entertaining needs!
