Very reasonable set of knives. Just the essentials. Steak knives are nice addition. Slightly on the light side.

Excellent set of knives. The German steel is gorgeous and holds its edge. It is a good foundation for building a beautiful set. Add a bread knife and couple of other specialty knives and you have a custom set at a very affordable cost. The walnut wood knife block is beautiful and will look great in any kitchen.

Knives brake within a year, don't stay sharp

Initially liked the set. Ove a year have become rusty, have to sharpen after every use, and tonight broke a steak knife cutting cream cheese. Great beginner set, dont expect them to last over a year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this as a gift for a younger friend who is just starting out w/ a new place. They were thrilled to have a set from such a good company name, known for quality! They have already used the Chef & paring in a short time & anxious to see which ones they use over time. Perfect gift!

Great Wedding Gift

I bought this set as a wedding gift because I have always loved Zwilling products. This was a perfect gift for new couple who is learning to cook. It was important to me that the set was not made in China. This one is made in India!

Good for small spaces

I got this block set for my son when he moved into his first apartment. It was the perfect size for his small kitchen but had everything he needed for his first kitchen including steak knives and kitchen shears.
