[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have an old Henckels knife that we've used over 20 years. Still as sharp as day 1. The Forged Premio set us just as amazing ...with so many more knives! It makes meal prep quick as a breeze. This set is worth the money! I wish I got this sooner.

I love how the set includes a description of each knife and how to properly use them! I am learning which knives are for what and how to properly use them! Also the craftsmanship is top notch and the blades are incredible!

Good 'better-than-the-basics' set

This set comes with two terrific all-purpose knives - the 8-inch chef's and the 7-inch santoku. Both considered workhorses in any kitchen. Plus it comes with a set of steak knives. The addition of the serrated utility and the paring and you can prep a pretty awesome feast. There are additional specialty knives to add, and the block has open slots for additions in the future, since the Forged Premio are good knives that will last you for years.
This handsome set of knives is forged from German steel and made to very exacting standards. The fine edge blades made from high quality stainless steel can take and hold an edge ensuring years and years of enjoyable use. Hone them regularly. The full tang blade runs through the integrated bolster and triple riveted handle for maximum stability and durability.
Dishwasher safe, but I always hand wash my knives. I like them to look new and dishwashing detergents are very hard on knives.
