Good first impression

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems great out of the box, but I haven't used it much. Time will tell if the blades hold their edge better than my entry level knives. I'm expecting this block set to be my daily knives for at least the next 10 or 20 years. I'm looking for BIFL (Buy it for Life).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the sleek and modern look. Its functional for my household with the right amount of utensils needed. The knives are durable and don’t expect any dull knives any time soon due to the built in sharpener.

I bought this knife set as a Christmas gift. I am very excited to give this to my daughter. The block is beautiful and the knives appear very sturdy. I love the self sharpening feature. My husband is a chef and he agrees.
