The Modernist line of knives is already fantastic and is made even better by this self sharpening block. Never get a dull knife as you consistently maintain the edge and angle of your blades each time you pull them out. Each slot is designated for a specific knife so you won't have to worry about incorrectly sharpening your knives. The sleek Modernist knives are perfectly balanced and weighted and offer tons of comfort when using.

Not only is this a sharp looking set, it is sharp. I love the brushed stainless with the dark wood. The knives are sharp everytime you use them thanks to the bulit in self sharpener. I appreciate that this set includes both a chef and santoku knife.

Great Modern self-sharpening set

The name really speaks for itself, I love how modern of a look it is. I was looking for something with this aesthetic and it’s perfect. It’s a great assortment of blade shapes, all knives I would use in my kitchen. The textured handle contours nicely to my hand and has a good weight to it as well. Also, since it comes in a self-sharpening block you never have to worry about sharpening your knives, so that way you can enjoy using your sharp knives and not worry about the maintenance side of things.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a very useful, high value set. You will not worry about having a sharp knife to use again. The modern look is as sharp as the knives.

This smaller block is great for smaller kitchens, apartments or starter homes. Gives you all the knives you need plus shears for your herbs. I love the Stainless steel details, especially on the block top and end caps. These are sharp and made to stay that way!
