Always Sharp

Not only is this a sharp looking set, it is sharp. I love the brushed stainless with the dark wood. The knives are sharp everytime you use them thanks to the bulit in self sharpener. I appreciate that this set includes both a chef and santoku knife.

The Modernist line of knives is already fantastic and is made even better by this self sharpening block. Never get a dull knife as you consistently maintain the edge and angle of your blades each time you pull them out. Each slot is designated for a specific knife so you won't have to worry about incorrectly sharpening your knives. The sleek Modernist knives are perfectly balanced and weighted and offer tons of comfort when using.

Modern knife set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a much needed upgrade. My old set was getting dull and needed to buy a new set soon. I’m glad I got this set with the self-sharpening block. The satin finish makes it look ultra sleek and modern. Very pleased with the dark wood color too.
