Great quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched from a Cuisinart Knife Set to a Henckels Knife set and it’s life changing. The sharpness of the knives and even the scissors is so much better. Glad I purchased this.

Sharp but will rust

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this knife set and it does stay really sharp and looks great. However the serrated knife started rusting within a few uses. Hoping with the warranty they will send me a new one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received these as a gift. I really wanted them after seeing Gordon Ramsey used them. Unfortunately, one of the blades has a chunk out of it. Very disappointed in the quality.

Ok product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3 stars for sharpness. How ever- the block doesn’t hold the knives in place as secured as I would like. Some of the knives I received looked used and/or starting to rust.

In addition, the size of the storage Block and the sharpening mechanisms in the appropriate slots allows for enough room to move the Knives in and out of the Storage Block safely, while sharpening and as well as with the non-sharpening Slots, as well as allowing airflow around them therefore no bacteria can grow. Never Dull

Modernist knives are sleek and modern looking. They have fully forged bolsters making them durable. Knives are sharpened every time you pull one out. I originally though handles might be slippery but they have a brushed steel finish so no slippage even when working with wet ingredients.

I fell in love with this block set. Originally attracted to the chic modern look, but you can't beat the self sharpening block. All you do is pull the blade back and forth into the slot, and you have a sharp blade. No longer have to worry about sharpening and honing at the correct angle, or having to bring my knives in for professional sharpening which can be costly.
I have everything I need to wait out this pandemic, and prepare great meals for my family.
