Best Knives Ever, Really Sharp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a joy it is to use a sharp knife. I had no idea just how bad my old hand-me-down knives were! I purchased this set because it had the built-in knife sharpener which appealed to me. Also, it had a full-size bread knife which a lot of other sets do not have. I chose to get the set with the steak knives instead of the set that just had the main knives due to the price. The set is very handsome and it’s nice to know which knife is in which slot with the names on their slots. I hope to find that with proper care - no dishwasher and hand wash and dry immediately- that these knives will wow me in the future.
Future review... I’m still happy with these knives... my old ones were very lousy. I do see an immediate change in sharpness. It cuts like a dream your first times and then... I hoped that this new trend towards sharpening the knives by the block device was great. It turns out that it’s just hype... I think. I still am impressed with the knives because this is the first time I could afford to buy a brand whose name I trust and they are far superior to what I had.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Why did I wait so long?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new knives. They are not only excellent, sharp knives for my gourmet meal prep, they are a beautiful work of art on my counter. They are so sharp and stay that way thanks to to the self sharpening knife block. The wood is beautiful. I got the silver modern set and it a beautiful useful addition.

So sharp!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never owned such a wonderful set of knives as these. There are so sharp that prepping meals is a breeze. Reduced the amount of time it took to cut vegetables by half. Cooking a meal is actually enjoyable now instead of being a chore.
