Good quality stainless steel stamped knife has the 3 most used knives for a starter set. This includes, 4" paring, 5" serrated and 8" chef's knife. Blade stays sharp and a very reasonable value for a set made by Henckels.

This is a great value starter set to get your kitchen started with the essentials. The blade is sharp and has a balanced lightweight handle. These knives are sharp!

Great Starter Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used a cheaper set for my knives the past few years. I finally decided to upgrade to a better set and bought these three to try out Henckels. A great purchase! The edges are sharp and the grip is good. The knives have a good weight to them also. I'm looking forward to using these knives!

I wanted new knives but do not have a ton of storage space. This set is perfect. It has all my essentials covered. The paring knife is great for shaping and peeling. The serrated blade makes quick work of not just bread but citrus, tomatoes and anything else with a tougher exterior and soft inside. The chef's knife handles all my larger prep jobs with ease. The stainless steel blades are very sharp and easy to maintain. The riveted handles are not just attractive, but very comfortable to hold as well.
