Great Basics

This set is perfect for someone starting their knife collection. It's got two of the top knives needed in a kitchen, the 8" chef and a paring. The 6" utility is a nice backup. The knives are made with German steel and it is forged from on piece of steel for long lasting durability.

Great starter set

This a great starter set. The knives are all the types that you would need to use and want to use. The Classic is a great and durable knife collection, the German stainless steel holds up really well. I like having a large, medium and small fine edge blade shape from this set; great for cutting, chopping all sorts of meats and produce. A great set to build a knife collection.

I'd prefer a serrated knive versus the slicing knife. Other than that, the set is great! Sharp and easy to use, and a great value for 3 knives.

Small, medium, and large blades for most all kitchen cutting tasks. Purchased these forged German stainless steel knives for the mountain cabin knowing they would withstand high use by frequent guests. Continue to add other Classic knives to this durable collection.

Needs a serrated knife!

I really like this essential starter set, my only wish is that it had a very necessary serrated knife! Other than that, this includes great pieces that certainly get utilized on a daily basis!
