cutting, chopping, slicing functions so far. The quality is reliable and I know
they will sharpen easily when I need to tune them up.

Great starter set!

I've had Henckels Classic knives for more than 20 years. They are terrific. They have made many great meals. This set is a great place to start. The chef's knife will do most of the work, and you have a slicing knife and a paring knife for the extra stuff. These are forged knives made of quality steel. They sharpen up nicely. Great value.
