Kitchen Workhorse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased for daily use in a busy family kitchen. It has performed exceptionally well in all aspects from cooking to clean up. The first night at home, I made popcorn on the range, wiped clean and immediately placed in a preheated oven to bake bread. The following morning, I fried doughnuts for breakfast before braising short ribs that afternoon. I was so pleased with all of the results that I decided to use it for dessert. I took a cookie dough that normally yields around five dozen cookies and bake as a single large cookie. Of course, the result was excellent.

The very best

This is our second cocotte. It’s so beautiful and stylish, I just can’t take my eyes. We used it for all of our cooking/baking. From the stovetop, to gas burner in to the oven. I couldn’t be happier!

I have a 4qt that I have been using for a couple years. I use it to make stews for my husband and I. It is not big enough for 4-6 people so I purchased the 7qt one. I love the way it cooks and the clean-up, so easy. I highly recommend these pots!

Pretty great, maybe too expensive

The weight, size, and feel are nice. I think it does a good job for the most part but has a tendency to stick and generally won’t let go (even after the meat “cooks long enough.” I struggle cleaning the bottom and think the enamel is wearing after just a year (even with mild use and never exposing to high heat). For thinks like stews or greens, it’s great though so I can complain. I hope I have it and can pass it on to my family.

This classic Black Matte colored cocotte is a beautiful addition to the kitchen and dinner table. The cast iron interior makes for a great heating surface for any of your big meals and is perfect for showing off your cooking skills to your dinner guests! The enameled coating is ideal for browning and searing purposes but overall is a fantastic vessel for feeding the masses, from stove/oven to table.

Black matte works for every kitchen, either stainless steel or modern designed. Staub cast iron pots saves you another dish, you can serve your delicious dish straight to your table.
The innovative lid features tiny spikes on the interior that continually release condensed liquid back onto the food, yielding moist, flavorful results.
I also bought a staub trivet to protect my table from direct heat, it add another beautiful thing at your dinner table.
