The knives are very sharp right out of the box. Good quality, sturdy & the knife block is very nice, matches my cherrywood cabinets exactly. Very happy with this purchase!!!

They don't come with the steak knives, so I had to buy those separately, and they don't match, exactly, but they're still handsome and also cut really well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second set of knives. My first set was purchased over 10 years ago and the handles began breaking from being out in the dishwasher. This new set does not seem to be of the same quality. The knife balance seems to be very different. The thickness of the steel seems different too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
