Excellent value. The knives are extremely sharp, well balanced, and very well made. I like the Four Star handles. The set does not come with the Santoku knife, but I have seen some excellent sales to complete the set. There are 8 empty slots for steak knives. It is going to be expensive to fill those with comparable quality knives to those that come with the set. The self sharpening feature seems like a good idea though I have not had the set long enough to form an opinion about how well it works. The block is well made.

Overall love the knives and the self sharpening block is sturdy. Although it is a larger block than I expected. Would have loved the set more had it come with a santoku knife.
I would recommend this to a friend!

These have changed my time in the kitchen. They make cooking so much easier, I wish I had bought them earlier. I didn't know the difference great knives can make. Incredibly sharp and efficient.

Sharp knives and aesthetic looking set!

My wife and I just got these and so far we love them. We’ve added to the collection and hope these last us a very long time. They are definitely sharp and do the job you need done well, and precise. We can’t wait to keep using them.
