Great craftsmanship and super sharp blades! This is exactly what a cook needs! It’s not just made from german steel it’s made in Germany as well, that is a big plus for me!

Zwilling Never Dissapoints

My parents have had the same set of Four Star knives for over 20 years so when it was time outfit my kitchen there was no question on which knives I would be purchasing. This set is just as well made as my parent's and I have no doubt it will likewise last forever. I also purchased the Four Star 7" Santoku to fill the last slot. Now I just need the steak knives.....

Excellent value. The knives are extremely sharp, well balanced, and very well made. I like the Four Star handles. The set does not come with the Santoku knife, but I have seen some excellent sales to complete the set. There are 8 empty slots for steak knives. It is going to be expensive to fill those with comparable quality knives to those that come with the set. The self sharpening feature seems like a good idea though I have not had the set long enough to form an opinion about how well it works. The block is well made.

Overall love the knives and the self sharpening block is sturdy. Although it is a larger block than I expected. Would have loved the set more had it come with a santoku knife.
