The block is perfectly stable and I love that there are pictures to show which knife goes in each slot. The knives are amazing!!! Perfectly sharp every time. My only complaint would be the block itself is a bit long.

Amazing knives!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives are incredible, and I've tried a lottttt of knives. Doesn't include steak knives or santoku so will have to purchase separately, but if you are looking to invest in a good set of knives these are great, and can slowly add to the collection. The self-sharpening feature is amazing and such a game-changer, and worth the money to not have to sharpen them yourself! Invest in the high star knives, we had other Henkels set made in China and these are 100x times better. If you cook a lot, it is a good investment.

5 star knife set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m finding through internet search that the 5 star line has been discontinued but gets great reviews. The box nor its paper inserts give any clue as to what size Santorum knife will fit the empty block.
