Excellent knife set

Very nice block set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The build-in sharpener is a very nice touch, but it's not available for the serrated knives. The Santoku knife is not part of the block set. Very nice knives overall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned a set of Four Star knives for many, many years. I love them. So it was a no-brained when I needed to setup a new house that I would purchase a set. While the knives are still good, they are lighter and thinner than my old set - actually compared them. I am hoping they will still last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product! Wonderfully made and weighted knives. The shears are better than ones I would get at regular department stores. It's a perfect step up from having individual assorted knives to a single set that has various uses. The knife block itself is convenient and looks great in the kitchen. The added sharpening block is a utility that maintains the effectiveness of the knives and saves space as well as cost. Packed well, unboxes and sits beautifully while performing well.
