Zwilling knives welcome Christmas gift.!

I received this for Christmas from my husband and am thrilled with it. I love the idea of the self-sharpening knife block, and was pleased to see that the paring knife slot is also designed to be used to sharpen the steak knives that He bought to go with the set. I used one of the knives when I was chopping green onions from my garden for a Christmas dinner recipe, and it cut like a dream!

We purchased the set in white, looks great on the counter and the weight and balance are also fantastic. First time with a self sharpening system, excited to see how well it will maintain a sharp edge. Nothing worse that a dull knife!

I love the clean simplicity of the knives and the sharpening block is an awesome bonus! Used on a steak today and it was like cutting butter!
