These knives are exceptionally sharp right out of the box. They are a great addition to any chef's kitchen.

I have to admit I was really just looking for a good looking block set for my remodeled kitchen. I really am amazed at how well these cut. They are as sharp as they look. Love the one piece sleek design, and the weight of each knife. Feels and looks like a much more expensive Japanese knife my neighbor has. I think she paid more for her Chef knife than I paid for the entire set. Could not be happier with my choice.

Modernist....the name says it all

I love the look of these knives. So many sets these days are too "rustic" for my asthetic. I love the black block and the modern look of the brushed steel handles.
Besides the look, they cut like a dream. The construction feels great in my hand but not too heavy for being all metal construction. I really enjoy using them as well as the way they look on my countertop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

These are very lightweight, so if you have trouble with heavier knives, these will be a welcome change. Lightweight and ergonomic means fatigue-free slicing, chopping, dicing. Stylish design and will look great in any kitchen decor!

Modern Cutlery Set

This block set is unique, stylish, contemporary and modern. The Stainless steel blade with the logo on the end cap is very ergonomic. I love that the steak knives match the blades in this set perfectly. The high quality German stainless steel will help retain a sharp edge for quite sometime.

I bought these less than six months ago and they suck. They’re not as sharp as I expected it to be for the price - the base it’s already falling apart. Not happy about it at all

Modern, forged Set

Nice weight...being forged and all. Look and feel much better than they cost! Great edge on steak knives. Would not dish wash.
