Sharp and Reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The essential set is included with the chef knife, santoku, bread knife, utility, pairing knives, and steak knives. Scissors and sharpening steel included as well.
Preparation is much smoother than when I was using a lesser set. The santoku and chef knives are a wonderful departure from my previous tools. Instead of struggling with cutting an onion, pepper, or melon these knives require less effort. The construction looks to be one piece of steel. No more cheap plastic handles that feel cheap and break. These knives feel sturdy and durable. I recommend this set for those who enjoy cooking. It has the majority of what you'd need.

Gorgeous, sharp, not issues so far

The biggest con I read was about the rusting, which I’ve had no issues with so far. But, I never put my cookware or knives in the dishwasher- I had wash and dry immediately. They’re gorgeous and I LOVED the black knife block. I’ve only had them a week or so, but I love them.

The weight and balance is perfect, something I was slightly worried about when buying online. The block is beautifully designed and looks great on the counter top. I can't wait to cook some big delicious steaks to use the steak knives too!
