This is a great way to get three knife profiles that you'll need in any home kitchen. The chef's knife will tackle most of your cutting jobs from fruits and vegetable to meats. The serrated prep knife will be your go-to blade for citrus, tomatoes, sandwiches, rolls and bread while the paring knife helps with all your small tasks like peeling and removing strawberry stems. Four star knives are popular because they are forged from specially formulated steel to be corrosion resistant but hard enough to retain their razor sharp cutting edge use after use. The molded handles are really comfortable and nonslip.

We already had a Zwilling J.A. Henckels set of knives, but had ruined one of them, trying to open a coconut. Although the large knife was shorter than the one we broke, we are actually enjoying it more. And the two smaller knives are fantastic additions to the set we already have. This is a great starter set and introduction to the quality of ZJAH knives.

A great starter set for new homeowners, recent college grads or if you just want the essentials. The Four Star knives are nice and lightweight, great for anyone who doesn’t want something that can be tiring in hand. The Chef is a great knife to use for chopping and slicing vegetables, meat, fruit. The paring knife is great for slicing and peeling fruits and vegetables, and the serrated utility is great for slicing citrus, tomatoes, bread and meats like sausage. With the Four Star having a ice hardened forged steel, these knives will stay sharp much longer, won’t be prone to rusting, and will have lasting durability. A great set to build a knife collection or to have a couple key blades in your kitchen.

Four Star is an amazing knife line that they've been making in Germany for over 40 years. It's forged from high carbon German steel so it has a great weight and balance as well as an incredibly sharp blade that holds the edge really well. The molded handle is lighter than the three rivet knives and is super comfortable. Just like all their forged knives made in Germany, they're going to last a lifetime.

It says it in the name, this is an essential knife set. What a great way to start your cutlery journey with these three amazing Four Stay blades! The chef's knife is the workhorse in the kitchen and can get almost any job done. Utilize the serrated utility knife for foods with tough exteriors and soft interiors and the paring knife for smaller cuts. Each handle is comfortable to grip and the German steel blades stay sharp for a long time. Get this set! You won't regret it.

Quality starter set. Three essential knives every kitchen needs. The chef, the serrated and the paring. The steel is very durable and the edges are super sharp. The molded handles are comfortable. All together not too heavy, but perform beuatifully.

This is a top of the line set. Super sharp, durable and well balanced knives. I like the full bolster. It's a safe place for your grip and provides a lot of balance to the knives. The handle is light weight and very comfortable.These three knives will take care of all your prep work in the kitchen for many, many years! no wonder its a world wide favorite.
