I have several other Staub items in various colors and am pleased to have the Cerise Cherry Kirshrot color now! Staub has surpassed my expectations for cast iron cookware. I plan to make a soup this week and am so pleased my Dutch oven can go from cooktop to refrigerator.

It can keep steam perfectly for hot stew. We don't need to worry about some residue at the bottom and wash easily!
It should be used more than now, but it is so far so good!

Gorgeous and incredibly versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find myself reaching for this dutch oven almost every single day, its incredibly versatile for braises, sears, frying etc.. I purchased one with "visual imperfections" and its still very pretty. There was an interior chip and I was able to get a replacement quickly with the help of customer service.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! But be careful w the finish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This beauty has become my go-to pot for EVERYTHING. So far, I’ve made bread in it, au gratin potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, bread pudding, numerous soups, stews, and sauces, I even cook my pasta in them. Caramelizing onions is an absolute dream. The pan heats up quickly, boils water quickly, holds heat (and moisture) evenly. The only fault is that the red one (my fav!) now has two chips in the finish from normal use over the past year. I also have a gray one which has seen just as much use, but hasn’t suffered any chips thank god.
