BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL

This, and all my Staub Cast Irons, are a delight to cook with. My wife does the cooking (and cleaning), while I do the eating. All my growing-up years were constrained to recipe-forced food. Since marriage, I am blessed to be married to a wife who knows how to cook by taste, not by recipe.

The 4qt is a perfect size and weight. Not top heavy that it breaks my arm, but just perfect enough to know it's great quality and good size for a small dinner party.

These are my favorite series of Dutch Ovens! I am a Cookware fanatic and the heavyweight quality construction of this cocotte series is unmatched. This is my fourth purchase in size and each one is impressive. Highly recommended!
