[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a heavy pot, which is both good and bad. Good in that it is supreme at slow, even cooking. Bad in that, when filled with food, you'll need to use those arms muscles. Though pricey, there is no better pot. You will pass this down to your children who will make food in it while thinking of you.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works like a dream! The beef bourguignon turned out great and very tasty! Can't make it any better than this!
I just ordered "STAUB 4-QT ROUND COCOTTE - CHERRY - VISUAL IMPERFECTIONS". I understand it's imperfect and can live with two dimples on the bottom and one hole near the handle. But it's a totally different story the coating is not consistent. Here is the picture I took after using water and soft cloth to clean the brand new pot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your photo with us. These are mineral deposits which are harmless but can easily be removed by boiling a half water, half white vinegar mixture in the pan for 5-10 minutes, pouring it out, allowing it cool, and washing as usual. If that's not successful, you can try a cookware cleaner, like Bar Keepers Friend. This and other helpful cleaning and maintenance information is available in the use and care guide included with your purchase.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The aesthetics and functionality of this piece motivated me to make this investment which I know I will not regret
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect size for a small family. Great for soups and stews or roasting a small chicken. Of course the quality is what you would expect from Staub.
