Excellent carving knife. It cuts thin, even slices with minimal effort. Just a pass or two with the steel and it is razor sharp. My complaint is with the fork. The tines are not that sturdy. They seem to twist when cutting a large greasy ham. A larger handle would be a plus. Slicing a turkey is much better. Would I buy again? Absolutely!

I bought this for my brother and I can't review it myself BUT Henchkels is the highest quality one can get and the price was perfect, so I was really excited to be able to buy him the top of the line for a reasonable price, without having to buy the entire set--I had bought some Henckel carving knives myself many years earlier and they were great and even my PARENTS had bought them decades before that! Thank you, Henckels, for making this perfect and extremely reasonable gift available for us.

If you need a carving set, this is a great option! The 8" slicing knife makes it so easy to cut through meat and the sturdy fork is a fabulous accompaniment. The handles are comfortable and the pieces are both perfectly weighted.

This is the perfect set for your carving needs. If you don’t usually use a carving knife until holiday season, this is the best set to get. It’s at an affordable price, and you’re getting a really well made German stainless steel knife and fork. The Carving knife stays nice and sharp, and has a great weight and handle comfort for this blade.

This carving set gets pulled out for more than special occasions. Comes in handy for family gatherings when large portions of roasted or grilled meats are served. Carving knife makes an easy task of slicing meat, while the carving fork gets placed on the platter for serving.
