Balanced, Sharp Carver...plus Fork

Forged, long carving knife. Can't abuse it...too tough. Sharpens easily...see gray pull-through sharpener... Fork included. Excellent Spanish steel.

Beautiful carving set

I was looking for a carving set at Thanksgiving to carve my turkey and I am so happy that I found this one! I love the classic look of the handle and it's nice and sharp so that I can get right through turkey, which makes it such a nice presentation in front of my guests.

I use this carving set for every single Turkey Day (as well as other days) and it never fails. It always makes the job so much easier and maintain its' edge very well. This is a great value set that is not made in China and offers good quality at a great value.

Cook like a pro then look like a pro

Nothing worse than working all day to get that Turkey and all the fixings just the way you want them , bring them to the table and realize you will need to use any old kitchen knife and a big serving fork... really takes the wow out of the prep! I learned my lesson, after that thanksgiving boo boo, I raced out get a carving set. I realized that it should be a good quality set because it will have to last and look good thru decades of holiday meals. Amongst all of the mediocre sets out there I was so happy to find a good quality set for much less than I thought I would have to pay. Henckels is synonymous with quality so I feel very lucky and proud to have this set in my serving drawer!

This is a great set to have on hand for specific carving needs. I use this for my fajita meat off the grill as well as turkey, ham and other roasted meat. The forged knife means it feels strong and sturdy for the big jobs. If you don't need a set like this it still makes a great hostess gift!

Perfect for Turkey

We spend a great deal of time and effort for the perfect turkey at Thanksgiving only to have someone butcher it with a serrated knife or wose yet, an electric knife. Turkey is like any other meat, you want to slice it, not tear it. This classic knife with its high carbon German steel stands up to that task; a perfect slice every time. I don't use a carving knife every day so I didn't want to invest in a $$$$ knife. Classic gives me that same awesome, forged quality and weight at a much lower cost.

Great price for 2 great tools for your Thanksgiving table or anytime of the year! The slicer cuts through any meats and the fork can be used year round for meats, potatoes, grilling, picnics! Very versatile tools from the Classic line that last for years and feel good in your hand.

Great carving set!

I've had Henckels Classic knives for more than 20 years. These are forged knives made of high quality steel. They sharpen up nicely, hold their edge and hold up to years of use. This carving set features a sturdy carving fork. I often find mine out next to the BBQ. The slicing knife makes fast work of roasts and turkeys.
