Perfect for My Ham

The classic set for holidays and all your gatherings. I have sturggled carving turkeys, hams, roasts and end up shredding them most often. I purchased this set for the quality at a value price. German Steel, Made in Spain and same craftsmanship as the more premium lines. I am very happy with this set and my job of slicing is now enjoyable!

Great carving set!

I've had Henckels Classic knives for more than 20 years. These are forged knives made of high quality steel. They sharpen up nicely, hold their edge and hold up to years of use. This carving set features a sturdy carving fork. I often find mine out next to the BBQ. The slicing knife makes fast work of roasts and turkeys.

Perfect for Turkey

We spend a great deal of time and effort for the perfect turkey at Thanksgiving only to have someone butcher it with a serrated knife or wose yet, an electric knife. Turkey is like any other meat, you want to slice it, not tear it. This classic knife with its high carbon German steel stands up to that task; a perfect slice every time. I don't use a carving knife every day so I didn't want to invest in a $$$$ knife. Classic gives me that same awesome, forged quality and weight at a much lower cost.

Superb carving knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, you can tell the quality of a forged knife by the weight in your hand. Mine was made in Spain. My other knives were too broad to easily carve a turkey. This one allows me to easily get to all the areas of the bird easily
