This is an incredibly versatile pot. The helper handle is a nice addition to this heavier weighted pot. The long handle feels comfortable. Designed for searing and braising stews or slow simmering soups. I like the see through glass lid. Excellent pan!! You will love it!!

Perfect Pan, conical bottom for better cooking!

This Clad CFX 4.5qt. Perfect Pan ceramic nonstick is PTFE & PFOA FREE, no harmful chemical, it is easier to cook with and far more durable. It is great for larger cooking needs, sauteing, broiling and browning, stewing, braising. This pan is great for meat, vegetables and fish. Frying fish and eggs with this CFX nonstick is effortless, it will slide right off pan.
Its conical bottom shape to me serves as Asian style cooking wok/stir frying, easier to move around spatula and spoons for mixing and stirring food, easy reach corner smoothly.
Sturdy 3mm clad construction with aluminum core heats up evenly and quickly. base stays flat even when heated and will not warp. This pot handle is comfortable, allows for easy maneuvering and roomy stay cool handle.
Safe to use with metal utensils, 10x more scratch resistant and more durable however wood and silicone tip spatula and spoon is recommended.

New Perfect Pan

This has become my new perfect pan for preparing most everything. The aluminum core permits pan to heat up quickly and evenly. Ceramic nonstick surface releases food easily and glass lid allows me to keep an eye on contents. Metal utensil safe with a convenient helper handle. Truly a perfect pan!

Very versitile pan

This pan is perfect for so many cooking applications. Can be used as a wok, a large saute pan and a braiser. The new CFX ceramic non-stick coating is longer lasting, more durable and chemical free. Stay cool handles round out the great attributes of this pan.

This is an additional piece I bought as part of the new CFX non-stick cookware. Like that I can use metal utensils without scratching interior of pan. See-through glass cover is a great feature and dishwasher safe.

Healthy and Durable

I have to admit I love the shape of this pan! It's a cross between a fry pan and a sauce pan. It's perfect for all those one-pot meals. There's plenty of surface area to brown 4 chicken breats and wow, how well it browns! Unlike the first generation of ceramic non sticks, this can take high heat, metal utensils and the dishwasher, and the non stick doesn't fail. Healthy and durable, an answer to my prayers.

I love this 4.5 Q for many reasons - stay-cool handle, helper handle with wide opening, glass lid for easy food monitoring and nice depth. Also has an aluminum core for even heating, even up the sides! Nice size for so many dishes - rice with chicken and veggies, mixed veggies, pasta dishes, soups and more. Easy to clean and washes right out.
