Excellent knife set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems like a real high quality knife set. I'm a steel snob so I find it annoying that they do not specify the steel that is being used. They just say high carbon stainless which really doesn't make sense. Either a steel is stainless or it is high carbon, it can't be both. Anyhow, the true test of any knife set come when you have to sharpen them. I just got them so I have had to sharpen them yet. The only thing I don't like on first inspection is that the steak knife have a recurve. This is unnecessary and will make them harder to sharpen. I'm not sure what their reasoning is behind that blade design.

Great knives for the price

They are as sharp as chefs knives but half the price. They seem to retain their sharpness for a long time too. Very happy with the purchase.
