Extravagant yet Practical

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wonderful husband treated me to this perfect Christmas gift and I am so grateful. These knives are of unbelievable quality. This set replaced a similar but smaller TWIN Signature set that he gifted to me 10 Christmases ago. They are still in excellent shape even with daily use for 10 years. Due to the quality and craftsmanship of these knives the old set was passed to our daughter who now has her very first kitchen. Having quality knives makes all the difference in the kitchen and these are a dream to work with.

Very high quality knife set and super sharp! I have been looking at high end knives for years and finally decided to buy this set. Best knives I’ve ever had in the kitchen. If you’re on the fence about spending the money you won’t regret buying this set

First Quality Knife Set

The ZWILLING Signature 19-piece knife set has been a great upgrade for my kitchen. The knives are extremely sharp, lightweight, and comfortable to use, especially the chef’s knife. The set includes everything you really need, and the block looks clean and high-end on the counter. Overall, the quality feels excellent for the price, and the knives hold their edge very well with proper care.

Wonderful Knife Set

My wife and I received this as a gift for our wedding. The knives handle very well, using them is a breeze. They don’t pull too hard to one side and really feel like an extension of your arm. The materials used to make them are of high quality. If you keep them sharp, they will allow you to focus on enjoying your food instead of thinking about trying to cut your food as you would with duller knives. The sharpness also helps you effortlessly cut around unwanted bits of meat, precisely removing gristle and fat. These knives also stay sharp for a long time, but still sharpening them a few times a year will keep you thankful that you own such a great set of knives.

Bummed! Great knives - poorly designed block!

#1 - I would prefer you customize the block to the knives provided. If you want to leave one or two slots additional, which I assume is a cost-savings mechanism for Zwilling, do so after providing properly fitted slots for the knives provided. For a nice knife set, especially of German origin, it is frustrating that the block is too loose fitting for the knives & accessories! #2 - For a set that includes 9 steak knives, a boning knife would be a nice and expected complement, more so than an extra steak knife. #3 - Include a photo looking straight onto the block so that it is not so deceiving how the knives truly fit into the block.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quality Over 30 Yrs? Which knives did I have?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received some Zwilling-Henkel knives 30 years ago as a wedding gift. One recently broke so I bought this series to update. I thought my old knives were Twin-Signature as well. The new knives however are not nearly as sturdy and built with much less steel. The handles are too light. I am skeptical these will last as long. I'm not sure if I am comparing the same knives but I miss the quality of the old ones.
