Very versatile. large flat bottom and decent height. Glass lid is solid and domed. The graphite colour pretty much matches any décor as well.

This is a great all purpose pan. The dark interior is great for browning and searing meats and chicken. Great for frying chicken and potatoes, as the pan does a great job crisping and browning. Glass lid lets you easily monitor cooking progress. Beautiful and functional pan that can transition easily from stove or oven to the table for convenient serving.

Have limited space in my kitchen so I need to choose things carefully. This pan can be used for so many different things, both inside the oven an on top of the stove. Loves using it for braising, roasting, stews, sauces, rices, grains, and risotto. Great for steaming mussels and shrimp, and the glass lid lets you see whats going on without losing steam and heat. The thing I like most is that the pan readily goes from kitchen to table. No longer have to transfer into serving dish. Saves space and clean up time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Huge fan of Staub and their products - and this pan is no different. The gray color is dry pretty, and the pan is easy to use and clean and not even too cumbersome in terms of weight. The glass lid is great for keeping an eye on how things are going as well! I am also a fan of the fact that these can be cleaned with soap and water compared to traditional cast iron - makes everything much simpler in my opinion. Would definitely recommend this as a versatile and good looking piece of equipment!
