HP lowered the capacity of ink cartridges to push their instant ink program. I am not a consistent printer so a program is not right for me. Printed small booklet of four double-sided pages; text and several pictures per page 20 copies and went thru 2 black and 2 color cartridges completely. Thank goodness I had purchased extra. Ready to dump the printer and buy one that will actually hold some ink.

Hi Susan I was sorry to hear that the cartridge did not print as many pages as you expected. High-density prints (like images and graphs) use more ink especially if the air is warm and dry. While you might not want to hear this if you usually print a lot of photos or other high-density prints Instant Ink was designed for your needs. If you subscribe to Instant Ink it can save you money.
