I printed 3 color pages after putting a new cartridge in and the cartridge was empty! Very expensive for 3 color pages!

Hi Lynda Three pages are less than your expectations. It depends on how much color was on each page. Still it does seem unusual that you would only receive three pages. Did you print images? Images use significant amounts of ink. The other possibility is that the cartridge isn't empty but clogged. To solve this problem try to clean the cartridge's printhead.
