I switched from a Canon printer after more than 20 years to an HP due to the exhorbitante cost of ink. The HP is no better. While the cartridges are slightly less expensive the cost per sheet overall is equal to if not higher than Canon. To rate these cartridges as XL is not realistic. The print quality is good.
