I thought that this ink was supposed to last longer. I bought a black ink cartridge in December. I thought it would last at least 6 months. It lasted 2and 1/2 months. When I went to staples to purchase another black cartridge there were only 2 left and you had to purchase a color cartridge with it. There were no single or double black cartridges to buy only a combo package. The price is unbelievably expensive!!!!

Ink cartridges cost way too much and the printer manufacturers hold us hostage with these prices. There is no way that our last ink cartridge should cost almost $100. But the question is what can be done about it?
