The ink cartridge printed 40 pages and it is already done . I purchased the xl because my son needed to print more pages and we ended up printing them at the school library . This product is really a ripoff.

It's HP's fault not Staples: I used to be able to purchase the combo of XL Black and XL Tri-color as one purchase. Now they've switched it to XL Black and regular Tri-color so that they won't last the same amount of time. If I want to buy XL for both it's two separate purchases which is significantly more expensive. As it is the price has increased a lot - this is the most I've ever paid for ink and HP made it so I could not buy it in the manner in which I wanted. What a business model!
