An HP problem not Staples but I bought the printer last May/June and this was the first time ink cartridge replacements were in stock. I checked with other stores and with HP headquarters and they just weren't manufacturing it for some odd reason - since it was for a new model! Thanks Staples for getting it back in stock!!!

I brought HP910XL/910 Black High Yield and Cyan Magenta and Yellow ink for my computer. The black and yellow work but the Cyan and Magenta are not producing any ink at all. I will have to return it as soon as I can to hopefully get another that all the inks work. I do not blame Staples unless it had been sitting on a shelf for a long time. What is so annoying is that is not the first time this has happened.

I have used Brother HP and Epson. Here is why I urge usage of HP: Unlike the other two if you set HP printers to print on "DRAFT" quality the printing still looks terrific and dark! I hated "Draft" quality on the others but with HP the result if still professional and saves a lot of money (the Epson used ink like crazy!).

We barely use the printer yet after a few months it says its run out. May be cheaper to buy a new printer. Is this what HP has become?

Hello Sanjit I am sorry that this happened to you! The strategies to get full use of each cartridge involve your printing habits. Printing complicated designs or with specialty paper increases ink use. Turning off the printer saves ink from drying. It is always a good idea to check the ink levels when you insert a "new" cartridge to make sure it is full. If there is a problem you can quickly make an exchange.
